PCA's mission has 3 critical goals.
1 Raise Awareness. Canine and feline cancer is the #1 health problem for pets. By generating greater awareness we're helping pet parents take the first steps toward protecting their dogs and cats.
2 Provide Information. As with almost anything, information is power. The more pet parents know how to minimize the risk to their pets, and what to do if their dog or cat does contract cancer, the more empowered pet parents are to help.
3 Raise Money. Research is expensive. PCA helps provide funds to universities and clinics that are conducting research on the causes, prevention and treatment of canine and feline cancer. All funds raised by PCA will be distributed by The Blue Buffalo Foundation For Cancer Research.



Another of PCA's goals is to build a solid grassroots effort with a wide variety of awareness and fundraising activities.
